Arguably the best known hotel and nightclub venue in Kilkenny, Langton’s Hotel on John Street in the centre of the City suffered extensive damage following a major blaze on Christmas Day.
Emergency services were called to the scene when a fire broke out at 9:15am on Christmas morning.
It’s understood the venue help with Christmas dinners for homeless people living in the City.
Thankfully they were able to get the fire under control with no reports of injuries, but the kitchen of the venue is said to be extensively damaged from the fire.
It’s now been confirmed that the venue is fully open for business from this evening onward.
