There was some good news announced in the past few hours as Gardai have confirmed that missing Dublin teenager Aoife Hawthorne has been found safe and well.
The news comes after a nationwide appeal was issued after Aoife aged 13, went missing on Saturday evening when she went to visit a friend in Grangecastle Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
Gardaí say Aoife has now returned home to her family and they would like to thank the public for their assistance in the case which is now officially closed.
