A furious couple residing in Bray Co. Wicklow with their five children, have come to learn that the two neighbours living beneath them are both dangerous convicted paedophiles.
Rapist John English, and child pornography fiend Barry Watters, both live seperately, beneath the family of five children.
The couple only recently found out about their deviant neighbours after the criminals appeared at Bray District Court for drug-related offences.
The couple are now frantic, living fearfully for their children, and have confronted their landlord, who claims to know nothing about the placement of the perverts.
Speaking in dispair to the Sunday World, the mother said : “The landlord told us he had no idea the two of them were sex offenders, that the people who placed them with him hadn’t told him.”
English was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2004, with five years suspended, for the rape of a young Australian tourist in Cork.
He was described by Mr Justice as a “danger and menace to society” as well as “a serious threat to the women of Cork”.
Watters has been in court on multiple occasions for child pornography offences for which he has pleaded guilty.
He went on to breach his strict probation terms by frequently visiting a local swimming pool that young children attend.
Both men have been quoted as pleading for “another chance”.
