A group calling themselves “IRA” has claimed responsibility for the car bomb in Derry on January 19.
The attack, which caused significant damage to a nearby courthouse and a number of adjacent buildings, left the local community shaken as the specter of a return to a violent past raises its ugly head once again.
This new iteration of the “IRA” has also vowed to continue its campaign of violence against what it calls “imperialist” targets.
