Harvey Weinstein was found guilty in a New York court house on Monday Irish afternoon.
He had pleaded not guilty of rape in 2013 and sexual charges of another woman in 2006. He was found guilty of a criminal sex act and third degree rape predatory sexual assault which would mean life sentence.
He’ll now be sentenced and could face up to 25 years in prison. The trial judge remanded him in custody and led him out of the courthouse.
Weinstein’s legal team said that he will launch a full appeal on the verdict.
