A 50-year-old man was arrested today in possession of five firearms as part of an ongoing operation against dissident republicans in Dublin.
Four handguns and a shotgun were recovered when a property was searched at East Wall, Dublin. The weapons will be sent for forensic testing.
The man is being detained at Mountjoy Garda Station under Section 30 of Offences Against the State Act.
