France has officially recorded a massive 25,000 nursing home patient deaths from Covid-19 which makes up a quarter of all deaths in France.
With these startling statistics, half of nursing home employees are hesitant to take the vaccination. One trade union official said that the the problem is the lack of communication and trust in the health authorities.
RT say France has one of the highest “vaccine scepticism” rates in the world with four in ten people saying they are unlikely to get the vaccinated. Fear of the vaccine seems to be the major issue, with lack of proper communication between government and medical workers.
French authorities are very concerned about vaccination scepticism, especially in healthcare workers prompting France’s National Academy of Medicine to suggest making vaccination compulsory for medical workers in one of its recent tweets.
