The Minister for Higher Education Simon Harris has said that the Government will give further clarity over the reopening of society next week.
Speaking to RTE News, Harris said that the Government will consider all aspects of reopening society and it will not just be solely focused on May, but June and July as well.
The former Minister for Health said that he is optimistic that college students could return to their respective campuses at the beginning of the new term.
He also said that the Government will first look at the reopening of personal services such retail, barbers and hairdressers for next month.
He added that it is also hoped that all of construction can safely reopen in May.
