The Minister for Health Simon Harris has once again called on the public to keep up their social distancing measures as the close contact infection rate has fallen to two per person.
Speaking about the effects of social distancing, Minister Harris said that the public are playing their part in flattening the curve as the close contact rate has fallen from twenty to just two in the last couple of weeks.
Although Harris praised the public for their efforts, he did reiterate that we all must stay the course in order to help the rate fall once again.
The Health Minister stated that although we have made a great effort in recent weeks we must continue our efforts as we need to get this number down to zero.
