J. K Rowling has given her fans an update on Harry Potter’s oldest son, James S. Potter. Much to her millions of twitter followers delight, Rowling tweeted that today would be James’ first day at Hogwarts.
“Could somebody at King’s Cross wish James S. Potter good luck for me?” she tweeted.”He’s starting at Hogwarts today.” Rowling continued with her tweeting, “Now worried that he’ll be irritated by the number of people saying hi.”
Another tweet gave fans some good, albeit not very surprising news. The sorting hat placed the young Potter in Gryffindor. “Have just heard that James S Potter has been Sorted (to nobody’s surprise) into Gryffindor. Teddy Lupin (Head Boy, Hufflepuff) disappointed.”
These tweets have been a source of much joy for avid Harry Potter fans. At the end of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows we learn that, 19 years on, Harry and Ginny have three children: James Sirius, Albus Severus and Lily Luna.
