What a beautiful sight to behold! Christmas has begun… at least in some houses!
The adage expression is “Once Halloween is over, it’s the start of Christmas” and if it puts a smile on people’s faces, isn’t that all that matters!
With more and more shops starting Christmas immediately after Halloween, we spoke to one woman who climbs up into the attic ladder and decorates her house in the first week of November, every year.
Dublin woman June Ford told The Liberal that herself and her family simply love the Christmas spirit:
“I just love putting up my Christmas tree, it really puts me in good form and it motivates me to get going for Christmas”.
The friendly and festive lady concluded said:
“I just love the whole Christmas Season. Myself and my 21-yr-old daughter have already started our Christmas shopping. The countdown is definitely on!”
