As reported on RTE NEWS on WEDNESDAY, Dee Forges, the RTE Director General said there needs to be a meaningful solution to the “sustainability of public service broadcasting”.
Her comments are ambiguous but some expect that the RTE Director General is not happy with receiving a mouth watering €197 MILLION in TV license fees in just one year of 2020.
That’s almost €1 BILLION every five years gifted to RTE to provide a public service broadcasting station.
