“He needs to do better” – Viewers outraged as Brendan O’Carroll tries to explain disgusting racist “joke” that youngster found appalling

Many viewers of tonight’s Late Late Show have been left appalled by one of their TV favourites trying to explain his way out of a joke that is point blank revolting.

The so-called joke, which is unrepeatable, saw Brendan O’Carroll issue an apology to the young man who overheard the line while working on a run-through on the Mrs Brown’s boys show.

“It’s 2024, Brendan, not 1964”, one viewer said.

Another added, “I’m very disappointed in Brendan. I always found him funny but I must say that as a mother of a young mixed race child with a disability, I’m highly offended”.

O’Carroll went on to talk about other so-called “jokes” that appeared to sink with the live audience as no one laughed.

Another social media user said “he dug himself a big hole tonight. He’s a bit of a thug, to be honest”.
