The Health Minister Simon Harris has confirmed that the number of ICU cases has fallen below 100 for the first time in over a month.

Speaking earlier today the Health Minister said that the overall number now stands at 99.

Although Minister Harris announced the fall in numbers, he reiterated that it is still a very worrying time for the families and friends of those who are currently receiving intensive care treatment.

The latest figures show that there are currently 99 covid-19 related cases in ICU compared to 160 on April 4th.
