A 3-yr-old boy has died on a farm in Bury near Manchester after being hit by a tractor. Detectives launched an investigation into the “heartbreaking” incident on Saturday afternoon.
The incident occurred roughly around 12.45pm with paramedics pronouncing him dead before he could be treated.
Greater Manchester Police said the collision took place on farmland on Bentley Hall Road. Paramedics alerted police with an investigation ongoing.
They are supported by specialised police officers. According to the police statement, the driver of the tractor is helping the police with the investigation.
It’s understood that the incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
