Gillian and Ronan Treacy spoke on RTE’s Ray D’Arcy Show about the most tragic of circumstances where their beloved son Ciaran was killed on Holy Thursday on April 17th 2014.
A drunk driver had consumed up to 8 pints of cider and crashed into Gillian with her children.
Gillian suffered horrific injuries but the worst of all was 4-yr-old Ciaran who tragically was killed in the crash.
Ronan and Gillian both spoke candidly about how hard it has been to raise awareness and ask people to slow down and not drink and drink.
A brave family who we can only hope that they can now move on with their lives for theirs and the rest of their family.
