Katie Taylor has won her first professional bout after she beat Poland’s Korina Kopinska less than a minute into the third round at Wembley Arena, London.
The former Olympic champion who was billed as favorite lived up to her hype by dominating the fight from start to finish
Taylor set upon her opponent straight away in the first round by connecting with heavy right hooks to Kopinska’s head as well as working the Pole’s body with left hooks.
The second wasn’t much better for Kopinska as Taylor dominated throughout and almost had the victory after she connected with a left hook early on, however the win was confirmed in the third round after Taylor pinned the pole in her own corner and pummeled her with fierce shots before referee Robert Williams correctly stepped in to signal a halt to the contest after 58 seconds.
