Gardaí have sadly confirmed that an infant baby has died at Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
According to Dublin Live, the infant believed to be a boy sadly died on Thursday morning following an incident which occurred on Wednesday.
It is believed that Gardai were informed of the incident as the child was continuing to receive treatment at the hospital.
Although Gardai have said no further information will be released at this time, they have confirmed that an investigation is currently ongoing.
