A six week old newborn baby is believed to have become the youngest person to die from COVID-19.
The baby’s death was confirmed by Connecticut’s governor Governor Ned Lamont.
It is believed that the baby was brought to the hospital unresponsive last week.
Governor Lamont confirmed that the baby tested positive for the virus last night.
He added that the newborn’s death is absolutely heartbreaking.
