Police in the North have sadly confirmed that a six year old boy who was found seriously injured by the roadside in Co Derry this morning has sadly died in hospital.
The young boy who was found on a roadside in the Tyrconnell Street area of Derry, has sadly passed away due to the result of the injuries he received in the incident which is believed to be a road traffic accident.
Meanwhile the PSNI have confirmed they are investigating the circumstances of the incident and a man has been arrested.
