A 10 week old baby girl from Co Louth still remains in critical condition in hospital today after she suffered a number of injuries in a domestic dispute at her home.
Gardaí say they have launched an investigation into the incident after the young infant was transferred to Temple Street Children’s Hospital earlier this week.
Initial reports have suggested the infant from Ardee, sustained a number of life threatening injuries after a dispute broke out at her home.
Gardaí say they are currently conducting a number of interviews and are examining CCTV footage of the apartment block where the infant’s parents live, in order to determine what caused her injuries.
