The accident occurred on Sunday afternoon when his motorbike struck a car on the southbound M50 between Blanchardstown and Lucan in west Dublin. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Christian, affectionately known to his friends as “Danish Paddy” to his friends, had lived in Carlow for over two decades. Following the news of his death, heartfelt tributes have flooded in from those who knew him, particularly within the biking community.

Similarly, the Kildare Bike Spins Facebook page remembered him fondly: “Chris was a good friend to many of people around the country, would always stop and chat. Our condolences are with all his club family, his immediate family, and friends.”
