An emotional mum has issued a heartfelt plea to parents after her 10-year-old son hung himself due to the relentlessly bullying by fellow classmates.

According to ABC 13 News, the heartbroken mother Crystal Smith, issued the plea after her son Kevin Reese Jr, sadly killed himself in his bedroom on January 21st this year.

Ms Smith who was out of town at the time of her son’s death, spoke out recently to highlight little Kevin’s torment at the hands of his fellow classmates.

Speaking in an emotional interview, Ms Smith of Katy, Texas, told reporters that her son had been repeatedly picked on by the bullies who beat him up and wrote messages on his tablet telling him to kill himself, saying that he didn’t belong here.

Ms Smith who opened up saying that she is still finding it hard to come to terms that her son is gone, said that she never thought it would go this far.

In a heartfelt interview Ms Smith spoke of how Kevin’s problems had become worse last November when his classmates beat him up which resulted in him coming home crying.

However after a few weeks thinking that her son was handling the situation and not knowing how bad it really was, the heartbroken mother was given the devastating news that her son took his life when his sister rang her after finding him.

Ms Smith said her daughter was left in a frantic state after finding her brother hanging in his closet.

Although Kevin’s father was on his way home from work at the time of the gut wrenching incident, Ms Smith said he would never have made it on time to save Kevin.

Despite initially making a plea to Kevin’s school to investigate her son’s alleged bullying, Ms Smith told reporters that she was left a voice message saying that the other boy denied such incident took place and they the school themselves found no evidence of bullying.

Ms Smith who said she just wants to know what happened to her son, also urged parents to pay attention and don’t assume everything will be handled by the school.

Before adding you must stay on top it until you yourself see something come out of it in the end.
