A 41-yr-old foreign national has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his ex-partner’s boyfriend in Ennis, Co Clare.
RTE reports that Nassar Ahmed of The Mews, Kilrush Road, Ennis had denied murdering Eoin Boylan on 14 April 2020 in Cloughleigh, Ennis, Co Clare, but was found guilty by a Central Criminal Court jury last month.
32-yr-Boylan was stabbed to death.
Ahmed had admitted manslaughter, but the state did not accept his plea. It’s understood that the foreign thug has only been living in Ireland for a number of years.
