The crew on-board the Irish Navy Vessel LÉ Eithne have returned home today after they completed their 60-day humanitarian mission in the Mediterranean Sea.
The 72 man and woman strong crew will now return home to their families after they spent just under two months away when they left form Haulbowline on 23 May.
During the deployment the heroic naval crew rescued thousands of stranded migrants who were trying to flee war torn countries.
