Australians haven’t stopped praised a couple of English chaps along with an Irishman who did their best to subdue a man who stabbed a woman in Sydney yesterday.
38-yr-old Shane Donaghey, a carpenter by trade hailing from Co. Donegal, he and three others gave chase and pinned the attacker down until police arrived.
Shane suffered only minor wounds during the incident
Himself and a few Manchester brothers and friends have been dubbed ‘true heroes’
It is understood that police are treating the attack as an isolated incident, and have confirmed that the attacker had a history of mental illness.
