Social media users have been absolutely outraged by comments made by Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly in relation to the large garda operation seen across Ireland at the weekend.
The Garda Commissioner Justin Kelly thanked gardai for doing a great job over the weekend as they dismantled peaceful fuel protesters around the country.
Kelly said that gardai did great work right across Ireland.
He also said that was absolutely disgusted with the intimidation and abuse that gardai received over the weekend.
Kelly said that these incidents will be fully investigated and that it will not be tolerated.
He said he will bring those responsible to justice.
