People aren’t happy with the Green Party’s latest suggestion on how people could save money on fuel costs by slowing their speed down by 25%.
Some social media users commented that he’d “lost it”, saying that he must be joking with his suggestion.
He’s known for his outlandish comments of late, including advising people to grow their own lettuce during the pandemic, but perhaps the Green Party leader Eamon Ryan has outdone himself with this one.
As fuel prices go through the roof at the pumps, people are left fuming and under immense pressure to try and keep their car on the road.
Eamon Ryan has the solution – he says people should drive slower in their cars in order to try and save fuel.
He says people should start driving at 100kmh instead of 120kmh so that they could save some 25% on their fuel consumption.
People on social media are saying that Ryan is completely out of touch and that he should lose his seat in the next election due to living in his own bubble.
