Leo Varadkar reiterated his demand for a double yes vote in the referendums, arguing that doing so will contribute to building a society that is compassionate and inclusive for coming generations.
Speaking at a Ranelagh canvass, he stated that the referendums aim to acknowledge the equality of all families and provide the first-ever particular recognition to family carers, reports RTE.
According to Mr. Varadkar, people usually only become involved with the issues during the last few days of a referendum campaign.
