The high-speed rail network in Britain disrupted after routine inspections reveal ‘cracks’ in some trains.

It is understood that the chassis of some Hitachi 800 units appeared to show structural damage.

Great Western Railway (GWR), London North Eastern Railway (LNER), Hull Trains, and TransPennine Express (TPE) services are affected by the disruption. Customers due to travel on any of these services are advised to contact the network operator before going to the station.
