Outgoing President Donald Trump is about to earn himself the dubious and shameful honor of becoming the first US President to be impeached twice, following the Democrats’ introduction of an impeachment article earlier today.
Donald Trump is being charged with the very grave ‘incitement of insurrection,’ in reference to the recent storming of the US Capitol, which has been largely blamed on Donald Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric earlier on that day.
The impeachment article reads: ‘In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government.’
The text also refers to Mr. Trump’s continuous and delusional claims about voter fraud, and his shocking call for Georgia officials to ‘find’ extra votes so he could win the state.
