Covid-19: Tanaiste wants third lockdown to be ‘last’, but warns that restrictions might remain in place for at least two more months




Former Taoiseach appointee and current Tanaiste Leo Varadkar has said that he wants the third lockdown to be the ‘last’, but has also warned that restrictions might remain in place for at least two more months.

The Covid-19 situation in Ireland is at its worst, with record numbers of new infections and hospitalizations.

Businesses have been warned that they might not be able to reopen until the end of March at the earliest.
