Holidaymakers heading to Spain this week are being warned of unusually high temperatures for the time of year.
According to local weather forecasts, most of Spain will see averages of 35C, with some areas peaking at 40C.
Nights will not bring much relief, as temperatures will still remain above 20C at all times.
