Hollywood actor William Hurt has passed away aged 71.
Hurt was a veteran actor who won an Oscar for the 1986 drama Kiss of the Spider Woman. He was also nominated for his roles in Children of a Lesser God (1986), Broadcast News (1987), and A History of Violence (2005).
In more recent times, he starred in several Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, including Captain America: Civil War (2016), Infinity War (2018), Endgame (2019), and Black Widow (2021).
Hurt passed away from natural causes just one week before his 72th birthday.
