Holohan advises two people to stay together indoors for two hours only over a 24 hour timescale, where possible

The chief medical officer Dr Tony Holohan has said that it’s now advised that two people stay no longer than 2 hours in the same room over a 24 hour timeframe.

It’s understood that where possible, you should not see that same person until 24 hours have occurred which therefore makes contracting potential coronavirus less likely.

Holohan did say however that in certain work environments, and obviously working an 8 hour shift, this would not be possible but to have a well circulated room.
