Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan is putting his foot down on what people can and cannot do before, during and after Christmas.
The CMO said that people must avoid crowds and that they should reduce all their contacts immediately in an effort to get on top of Omicron.
He also said that people should restart to clean their hands properly with soap and water when they wash them.
