Irish health authorities have reported just over 4,200 new coronavirus cases over the past 24h.
Official figures say that there have been 4,235 new infections confirmed in that period of time.
Health authorities have also announced 47 new Covid-19-related deaths. It’s not clear how many of these were vaccinated.
