The Chief Medical Officer is back at work just over one week and already has issued a number of stark warnings, including stating that Level 5 should be imposed across the country.
Whether or not that happens at this point still remains to be seen, however Holohan is making his thoughts known regardless of what level the country is currently at.
As case numbers appear to be spiralling upwards, Holohan said “I am very worried about the numbers we are seeing and how quickly they are deteriorating”. It’s understood that the government will make more decisions in relation to the country’s level status today and on Thursday.
