Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has received much criticism over the past month for not recommending that the government keeps its promise to lift all restrictions on October 22nd.
The covid certs are still required to get into pubs, clubs and restaurants. The government said that they would be needed for the next number of months and said that the hospitality sector must start to enforce them.
Holohan said on a video on social media that people leave a restaurant if their covid cert isn’t checked.
Many in the hospitality sector say that they’re doing all they can and that the government and Holohan are not playing ball.
