The Chief Medical Officer Tony Holohan has issued a stern warning to the Irish public and said that it’s not too late for people to cancel their Christmas plans.
Holohan also said that it’s not too late to avoid big crowds this Christmas.
The CMO said that he’s very concerned with the high numbers of confirmed covid cases over the past two days which has seen 582 and 527 cases respectively.
Holohan and NPHET will advising the government on what to do prior to Tuesday’s cabinet meeting.
