Ireland’s Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan is back in action and he means business.
Holohan has been leading all the daily NPHET press conferences since his return following the passing of his late wife.
As the draconian lockdown measures begin to ease, Holohan said that while things are improving, it’s still far too dangerous and fragile for people to meet in social settings, presumably in people’s houses or gardens.
What happens next is anyone’s guess – but the government are due to announce what NPHET are allowing them to do over the course of May and June.
