The Chief Medical officer Dr Tony Holohan has said he believes that the Ireland has flattened the curve in terms of tackling the Covid-19 outbreak.
Speaking on RTÉ’s The Late Late Show, Dr Holohan said that he believes that Ireland can go on and reduce the rate because of restrictions.
Holohan told host Ryan Tubridy that if restrictions hadn’t been introduced we would be in a more difficult situation.
He added the restrictions has worked by savings hundreds of lives and reducing the number of cases.
