Homeless agencies say they are add extra beds in Dublin shelters this Christmas




A number of homeless agencies in Dublin city have revealed this morning that they hope that the number of emergency beds needed should be before Christmas.

The news comes after latest figures shows that there were 15 empty beds in hostels around the city on Monday night.

However homeless advocacy groups hope to have an extra 84 beds available this weekend with work being finished on three new facilities at Ellis Quay, Little Britain Street and Carman’s Hall.
