A homeless Irishman was murdered in his tent in Cork on Saturday night yet the Irish government appears to not care less as they’ve confirmed they’re going to spend €80 million on direct provision centres for migrants in 2020.
Gardaí in Cork have launched a murder investigation following the death of the homeless man in Mardyke Park.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man, who was aged in his 50s, was found on a grass verge at approximately 1am Sunday morning.
Gardaí investigating the incident say the man was found near a tent which was set on fire.
It is believed that the man had been badly beaten and was quickly rushed to hospital, but he sadly passed away in Cork University Hospital a short time later.
