As the Chinese military prepare for possible intervention in Hong Kong to suppress pro-democracy protests, as demonstrators’ wave American flags and demand their own “Second Amendment” to guard against communist tyranny.

This refers to the Second Amendment to the US Bill of Rights which protects the rights of American citizens to own firearms to guard against the possibility of a tyrannical government.

Protests against an extradition treaty between the autonomous island and China have grown to larger protests against growing power of China’s communist dictatorship over the former British colony.

For weeks millions of the city’s residents have come out onto the streets and at one stage even stormed the parliament building and now the Beijing regime may be preparing for direct action in what many fear could lead to a repeat of the Tiananmen Square massacre.

In 1989 pro-democracy protests across China culminated in one of the worst atrocities of modern times when the communist dictatorship ordered the massacre of thousands of students in Beijing’s Tiananmen Square.

Ironically, pro-democracy protestors in Hong Kong are now demanding their own right to bear arms to protect their rights from a communist dictatorship while in the US leftists demand the government, led by President Donald Trump, take away their right to own firearms.
