There was some hope for the world as it was revealed that a Covid-19 vaccine could be ready by the end of the year.
In an announcement that could very see the beginning of the end of the pandemic, the World Health Organisation’s Director General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that there is hope that a potential vaccine could be found by the end of 2020.
Although Ghebreyesus didn’t elaborate on his statement, it is believed that as many as nine vaccines that could be massed produced at the WHO’s Covax facility.
The news which could see the end of the pandemic, will give countries around the world hope as it is expected that a mass vaccination programme will run through 2021.
