In a truly horrific scenario from last night’s Halloween festivities, a man in his 20s was chased down from a bonfire by a gang and murdered.
The attack happened at 3am at Liscarne Gardens in Clondalkin.
The man was in the area of a bonfire at St. Marks, a housing estate close by Liscarne Gardens, but wasn’t from the area.
He was chased by a gang of thugs across the Neilstown Road, into Liscarne Gardens where he was stabbed multiple times in the chest.
It’s believed the man struggled to his feet and belted on a nearby house’s front door. He gained entry, ran through the house and tragically died out the back garden.
Gardaí at Ronanstown are appealing for anyone who was in the general area of St. Marks/Neilstowns Road/Liscarne Gardens between 1a.m. and 3.30a.m. to contact them at Ronanstown Garda Station on 01 – 6667700.
