A 12 year day old baby boy has sadly died after it was snatched from its mother’s arms by a monkey in India.
The horrific incident which sadly saw the baby lose its life after a monkey bit him on the head.
According to Indian state media the tragic incident occurred in the the Runkata town on the outskirts of Agra.
It is believed the baby boy was snatched from his mother’s arms whilst she was breastfeeding him.
According to local officials the baby was taken after a group of monkeys invaded the victim’s home.
It is understood a large group of locals chased the monkey and threw stones at it in an attempt to ward it off from the infant.
Although the monkey fled the scene a short time later, the baby boy was sadly pronounced dead at local hospital a short time later.
Many locals have been left outraged by the latest incident and say there has been a sharp increase in monkey attacks over the last few months, with claiming that the monkeys have become aggressive after their natural habitats have been destroyed.
