In a truly horrifying story a 10 year old schoolgirl has been tragically killed in the most gruesome way possible after she was mauled to death by a lion in Zimbabwe.
The young girl named Mitchell Mucheni sadly met her fate after the lion pounced whilst she was going to the toilet behind her auntie’s hut.
According to police reports the young girl was killed after the mammoth lion bit her and mauled her before it dragged her 300 metres away from her home.
The horrifying incident which apparently occurred before her aunt’s eyes happened when the young girl left the hut to relieve herself at approximately 7pm in the evening time.
Speaking about the terrifying incident Mitchell’s aunt Mawonei Muchacha, said she couldn’t do anything to help. She said she had been waiting at the front of the hut while her niece went behind to go to the toilet but she couldn’t reach her in time.
Meanwhile a police spokesman has said they have been made aware of the incident ant they are currently providing assistance to MS Muchacha.
