OJ Simpson will soon have a chance to regain his freedom, as he goes in front of a parole board in the United States.
If his request is granted, Simpson will walk a free man in October, after serving nine years out of a maximum of a 33-year sentence for armed robbery and kidnapping at a Las Vegas hotel in 2008.
The parole hearing will be televised live later today. The event is expected to pull a large viewership.
